Whilton Locks Garden Village launch their Christmas entertainment for 2025, with fully online booking, despite it being still June.
So, to ensure the bah humbuggers – wouldn’t be too upset we pre-empted this and including them in the launch. The response was very positive.
START
Do you want to build a snowman?
Of course you don’t, it’s the middle of Summer and, if recent temperatures were anything to go by, Olaf would be just a pool of water before he could even sing the first line of “In Summer.”
However, with the date today being the 25th June, we’d like to wish you a very Merry Junemas.
“JUNEMAS!?” We hear you shout whilst almost choking on a glass of eggnog, “WHAT IN THE NAME OF SANTA CLAUS IS JUNEMAS?”
Well, grab a seat (and possibly a mince pie) and I’ll tell you…
Back in the days of Covid (boo) and Christmas (yay), we missed traditional celebrations with families due to lockdowns and restrictions and so, once these had been lifted, Christmas was celebrated in June of the following year. Merry Junemas!
Five years later and Junemas is still mooted as the exact half way point between last Christmas (not the one with George Michael) and this Christmas (very likely to hear George Michael). Merry… oh, you get the gist. So before you put the sprouts on, let’s talk about Christmas for just one paragraph.
Don’t snowball the messenger!
I am but a writer of social media news and the exciting/annoying* news (*Delete applicable) is that our Christmas Whilton Locks Winter Wonderland events are online NOW to book! If it’s not for you, simply have a look and shout “Bah Humbug!” at your screen. If you are super organised, don’t wish to miss out on the very best slots and want to bag the very best bargains, then a quick festive firkle on our events website may be in order. You can find it here: https://www.whiltonlocksgardenvillage.com
Santa, skating and snow much more!
Did someone mention the Grinch? No? Ok, then! Well he IS visiting this year and he is really NOT happy about the whole thing. So don’t be a grumpy grinch too – be a Christmas cracker.
Merry Junemas!
